Working within the UK head office of this international organisation based within the High Tech industry, you will be given responsibility for an established team of Purchase Ledger clerks. As the department deals directly with the after sales administrative service of this company you will need to maintain the current exacting standards and ensure client payments are made on a timely basis. Staff supervision will include regular reviews of workload and its accuracy along with appraisals and recruitment as and when required. The department handles a high volume of high value invoices weekly along with dealing with account queries and close liaison with customers. You will be given the scope and flexibility to review current work practices and make improvements where necessary.
